Neeka and a plushie of Thunderbolt. Anyone remember Thunder? He was a shetland pony that I once owned...but then sold...and now HE'S BACK! The people we sold him to gave him away...and those people then called us after some time and wanted to give him back. He is so skinny now...and has a huge grass belly (no good food just grass...which means his ribs show..but he looks like budda). His fat roll on his neck is gone...and his hooves are awful. Looks like no one gave him more care than a wild goat. Poor fella. Mom says I can keep him If I mess with him. So what do you do as an adult with a pony you can't ride (not trained for it anyway) and you don't own a cart/harness? Any suggestions people? For those who don't know, my mother already has several horses so its not like he is a huge extra pet...so we know how to care for him. Anyway he is so cute...here is a pic of him... [link] Oh and the pic is off him before we sold him... I haven't taken a recent pic yet.
TUNDY! I'm glad he's back with you, even if he's a little pain. As for what to do with him.. well.. first instinct says dye him a cool color. Second thoughts say either find a brave kid to help break him, or a cart. Stick antlers on him next year? If he weren't the pest I gather he is from what you guys said in the car, lol, I'd say use him as a visiting therapy animal for some local old people home place. Or just leave him as a pet and a companion for the other horses
And as for what to do with him -- is he mean tempered at all, or is he sweet? If he's sweet, you could teach him to do almost anything, and he might be good with kids.
If he's not sweet, you might find yourself in a bit of a pickle.

Hmmm...well, good luck! Surely after he's better taken care of, he'll be a bit more attractive to any possible owners you might find for him. *hugs*
